DESCRIPTION:Join Us for a Special Open House Celebration! \nThe Skippack Historical Society warmly invites you to our May Open House at the IndenHoffen Farmstead\, a special event honoring “Celebrating our Semiquincentennial – America 250.” \n📅 Saturday\, May 16\, 2026🕛 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM \nStep back in time and experience history brought to life as we welcome the Philadelphia Chapter of the Continental Army Color Guard. Guests will enjoy a ceremonial procession with the Color Guard\, followed by a stirring Reading of the Declaration of Independence from 2:15 PM – 3:15 PM. \nThis is a wonderful opportunity to gather as a community\, reflect on our nation’s founding\, and celebrate the spirit of America as we approach the 250th anniversary. \n\nBring your family and friends\, explore the historic farmstead\, and be part of this meaningful celebration of our shared history. \nThe IndenHofen Farmstead is located at the corner of Evansburg Road and Skippack Pike.
