Spring Open House: Reading of the Declaration of Independence!

Join Us for a Special Open House Celebration!

The Skippack Historical Society warmly invites you to our May Open House at the IndenHoffen Farmstead, a special event honoring “Celebrating our Semiquincentennial – America 250.”

🕛 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM

Step back in time and experience history brought to life as we welcome the Philadelphia Chapter of the Continental Army Color Guard. Guests will enjoy a ceremonial procession with the Color Guard, followed by a stirring Reading of the Declaration of Independence from 2:15 PM – 3:15 PM.

This is a wonderful opportunity to gather as a community, reflect on our nation’s founding, and celebrate the spirit of America as we approach the 250th anniversary.

Bring your family and friends, explore the historic farmstead, and be part of this meaningful celebration of our shared history.

The IndenHofen Farmstead is located at the corner of Evansburg Road and Skippack Pike. All are welcome—stop by for a few minutes or stay awhile and enjoy sharing in our local history.
